Board of Directors

The 2007-2008 Board of Directors for the Fraternity & Sorority Political Action Committee includes includes: six former National Presidents of fraternities, three current/former Executive Directors of fraternities, three current professional fundraisers, two former fraternity staffers, and the leader in the field of insuring women’s fraternal organizations. There are two vacancies on the Board of Directors, which may be filled later this year.

Student Leadership Council

The Student Leadership Council was formed in the summer of 2008 in an effort to include the students into the activities and actions of the PAC. It is composed of twenty-six Greek students from universities nationwide, who were chosen from a group of 80 students who came to lobby Congress on behalf of Greek public policy issues in April of 2008. All of these students are charter donors to the FSPAC. These students are also responsible for helping to launch the FSPAC Student Micro-Giving Program in June of 2008, spreading the word about the PAC and its importance to their college campuses and their Greek organizations.

Members of the SLC represent the PAC at various fundraisers, events, and meetings, providing a much needed student perspective for our lawmakers in Washington. With the help of the SLC, the PAC hopes to raise $25,000 from student donations – aiming to collect $25 from 1,000 student donors – for the 2008-2009 fundraising cycle.
